Mr. Smith has more than twenty years of experience leading and winning high-end IT and intelligence services programs with Federal Government agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), U.S. Postal Service (USPS), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Navy, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Mr. Smith’s extensive background in business development, capture, proposal management, price-to-win, and solutions architecture has resulted in a career total of more than $750M in awards and several large multiple award vehicles. Mr. Smith has led organizational initiatives that resulted in achieving a CMMI Level 3 rating. He has been instrumental in setting policies, technical standards and methods, and priorities, offering a deep knowledge of PMBOK, business administration, human resource management, and the IT industry.

He received his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2005, and holds seven additional certifications and accreditations, including being Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
